“He’s Ten Hag’s man” – Manchester United urged to pay up for potential €85million transfer

Manchester United need to be bold and pay the big money required to deliver the transfer of Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong.

That’s the view of former Red Devils midfielder Luke Chadwick, who also spoke to CaughtOffsideabout Richard encounter

 this week.

The new Man utd CEO gave some honest answers to a few supporters over drinks after learning that they planned to protest outside his house.

Chadwick praised Arnold for the things he said, and felt it was encouraging to hear from him that money would not be an issue in the pursuit of the club’s transfer targets this summer.

With that in mind, Chadwick went on to say he’d like to see United pay up to bring in De Jong for new manager Erik ten Hag.

“It’s quite a strange situation…from what I understand, the meeting with the fans at the pub came about because they were planning to protest at his house. Credit to him, he obviously didn’t want to have any of that on his family,” Chadwick said.
